It is essential that students prepare for auditions and maintain a regular rehearsal program at home in order to put on successful productions. Please make use of the resources provided through our website and be sure to speak with the instructors if you feel your child needs any additional support!
Students should be reviewing what they have learned in class at home. Syracuse Children’s Theater maintains a YouTube channel where we post dance videos/music related to current productions. Access the channel (sctstar1) through YouTube or click the Youtube link provided.
In order to help students and parents know what to expect from Syracuse Children’s Theatre experiences, we provide a Student & Parent Handbook. The handbook explains everything from the audition experience, casting philosophy, processes for moving from the classroom to stage, volunteer opportunities, and more.
